Approximately 20 people crowded in a hotel room, a man dressed in a 19th century period coat, on the table in front of him are 2 lit candles and a large chest. He opens the chest and a red dim light emanates from within. The magi explains this is an apocryphal gem that conferred magical powers. Among these powers was the ability to change base metal to gold. The magi confides that the treasure resides within. Removing the philosopher’s stone, it glows from within. Returning the stone, he extinguishes the candles. “Friends” he says, “concern yourself not with material wealth, but give far greater concern to the time allotted to you in this life.”
As he speaks these words, something utterly remarkable occurs… his hands and face begin to glow in an eerie way. Suddenly it becomes clear it is not a human face at all but a moving living skull, and the hands are now skeleton hands. The effect is utterly chilling. The skull speaks “I go now to keep an appointment that awaits each of you.” The lights go out.
