BLACKSTONE FLASH MODERN CABINET
BUILT BY DAVID MENDOZA
This is the Flash Modern Cabinet as seen in the 1991 Macy's
Thanksgiving Parade used to produce Katie Curic and Willard Scott
by Harry Blackstone Jr. on the parade route The illusion was
built by David Mendoza of Magic Kraft. I bought the illusion
from Gay Blackstone many years ago. There is a Certificate of
Authenticity that comes with the illusion. The illusion still
has the blue snowflakes placed on it for the Macy's parade. The
cabinet is 88" high by 44" long by 38" wide. It
has new castors and black art cloth on the top and bottom shades.
The front chamber is 17" wide by 36" long and can hold
2 -3 people. The rear chamber is 12"wide by 36" long
and can hold 2 people.
The illusion has been used only a few times and mostly sits in
my warehouse. It does need work on the shades and shows wear.
With a little TLC this masterfully built illusion could be a
wonderful addition to a stage show. Or would be a great addition

PAUL FOX - PERFORMING TUXEDO
WITH LETTER OF AUTHENTICITY
Taken from the signed letter of authenticity from Pauls daughter,
Margaret Fox Mandel.
The tuxedo is the true and only existing tuxedo belonging to
and used by Paul Fox for hid magic shows. The tux consists of
a vest, jacket and trousers. The lebel in the jacket reads "Lord
Rochester Styling/By Michael Stern & Co. Paul Fox had the
tuxedo customized with secret pockets and flaps. A tan vest of
my fathers is included. Signed & Dated March, 2003 |

paperback book was published in 1927 by Beatrice Houdini. The
book is worn but fully intact. A collector of Houdini memorabilia

100 YEARS OF MAGIC POSTERS
First published 25 years ago, this out of print book by Charles
and Regina Reynolds is highly sought after by collectors. This
is a large format (11" x 16") book filled with 96 mostly
full color and black and white poster reproductions of magicians
over the past 100 years. Each poster has a very nice explanation
about the history of the poster as well as a brief biography
of the magician. The Hermanns, Kellar, The Davenports, Houdini,
Blackstone, Thurston, Germain, Soo, Leon, Kassner, Nicola, Downs,
Dante, Houdin, LeRoy, and on up to the more modern magicians
such as Henning, Mark Wilson, Randi, etc. |

The full color posters are beautiful when framed but I'm not
sure you would want to cut up this valuable out of print book.
